ABOUT THE UCMAA BOARD
The UC Merced Alumni Association Board of Directors provides opportunities for enthusiastic alumni to become more engaged with the university and serve its needs. The board supports the mission pillars of the Office of Alumni Relations to increase alumni involvement with the university through leveraging networks and engagement opportunities.
Currently comprised of 17 members, the UCMAA Board hosts 4 meetings per calendar year, two of which coincide with Bobcat Day in the Spring and Homecoming in the Fall. Board Meetings are open to all alumni and opportunities to apply to serve on the Board open every April to coincide with Bobcat Day.
UCMAA BOARD COMMITTEES
In additon to the Executive, Nominations and Scholarship Committees, the board has 3 DREAM teams that support the mission pillars of the office and association. Each UCMAA Board team and committee is chaired by a member of the board.. Any alumni who are interested in working with a team are encouraged to email alumni@ucmerced.edu.
