On May 11, 2006, UC Merced's first three graduates became founding members of the UC Merced Alumni Association, and the tradition of staying connected to the university began.

The UC Merced Alumni Association serves to

• Foster and maintain links between our alumni and UC Merced
• Promote leadership and a spirit of citizenship amongst alumni
• Act as the main conduit for the exchange of information and ideas between the University and our alumni
• Aid in the advancement of the University
• Act as a network towards building strong foundations for the students of the University

With assistance from the Office of Alumni Relations and the San Joaquin Valley UC Alumni Network, the UC Merced Alumni Association is developing new programs and opportunities for our alumni and our students.
