Student Alumni Association (SAA) Board Application

The Student Alumni Association (SAA) Board is a team of current students who volunteer to serve in leadership roles within the Student Alumni Association (SAA). Their goals are focused on providing students with an exceptional experience by leading events and programs. 

Student Alumni Association Pillars

  • Networking. SAA connects you to fellow Bobcats, including our 14,000+ alumni network! We host alumni panels and dinners to help connect you with others for your professional and personal growth.
  • Philanthropy. SAA cultivates the importance of philanthropy by fundraising for student scholarships and volunteer opportunities. Learn about the different ways #BobcatsGiveBack and the impact we can make in our community.
  • Traditions. Your Journey begins with us! Learn about our UC Merced traditions that make you a part of the Bobcat family. From your Scholars Bridge Crossing to walking across the stage at your Commencement—you’re a proud Alum from Day One!

While the SAA Board is comprised of Directors, the Executive Board includes the President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Chairs for each of the pillars (Networking, Philanthropy, and Traditions).
