Bobcats, family and friends,
We appreciate your interest in joining us this weekend for alumni celebrations and Bobcat Day festivities. Kicking-off our events we will be hosting the UCMAA Board of Directors meeting at the Downtown Campus Center, followed by the an Alumni Mixer at Joystiq. Alumni will then back home to visit their alma mater for Bobcat Day festivities including “Ask an Alum” tabling and wrapping up with the annual alumni party featuring key remarks from Chancellor Juan Sánchez Muñoz.

UCMAA Board of Directors Meeting | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

ATTIRE: Business Casual/Casual is recommended but not required

PARKING: There is free parking available directly across from the Downtown Campus Center at the corner of 18th and N streets. (Google Map)

Alumni are asked to respectfully engage with the UCMAA Board as they conduct their meeting. Questions and commentary can be shared during open discussion portions of the meeting.

Please note there are built-in microphones within the room so all in-person guests can converse with those attending virtually. As such, we recommend you are mindful of your noise level as the microphones may pick up background audio during the meeting.

Check-In:

After entering the venue, guest will need to walk towards the stairs leading to the second floor (located behind the bar and on the right-side of the venue). UC Merced staff will be checking in guests at the foot of the stairs, providing name badges, tickets for soft drinks, and wristbands so you can exit and enter the second floor as needed.

SATURDAY, APRIL 22 ACTIVITIES
"Ask an Alum" Tabling | 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Thank you for volunteering your time to share your journey with prospective and admitted students! We look forward to hosting you at the Student Alumni Association (SAA)/UCMAA table during your shift at Bobcat Day.
- ACTION: To coordinate shifts, registered volunteers are asked to complete a brief online form by Friday evening.

ATTIRE: Comfortable/Casual. Sunglasses, sunscreen and a hydro flask are recommended items to have on hand throughout the day.

PARKING: Free parking is available in the Bellevue Lot. Please plan accordingly, as we expect a high volume of campus visitors throughout the day.
