The Student Alumni Association (SAA) is a student organization focused on amplifying the student experience through networking, philanthropy, and traditions.

  • Networking. SAA connects you to fellow Bobcats, including our 10,000+ alumni network! We host alumni panels and dinners to help connect you with others for your professional and personal growth.
  • Philanthropy. SAA cultivates the importance of philanthropy by fundraising for student scholarships and volunteer opportunities. Learn about the different ways #BobcatsGiveBack and the impact we can make in our community.
  • Traditions. Your Journey begins with us! Learn about our UC Merced traditions that make you a part of the Bobcat family. From your Scholars Bridge Crossing to walking across the stage at your Commencement—you’re a proud Alum from Day One!
