We are very excited to share that UC Merced is a part of the Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) Career Collaborative! This is a partnership between 13 of the leading HSIs in the country, which are composed of at least 51% Hispanic/Latinx students. Together we have joined forces to create the inaugural Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) Career Collaborative Summit!
The Summit is a two-day event that will provide a virtual platform for 130+ employers to engage with students and alumni through a day of professional development followed by a virtual career fair. Wednesday, April 14th, 2021 – Day One – Professional Development Sessions
- 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM | Keynote Speaker: Leo Cortez, Head of University Recruitment and Diversity Talent, Airbnb
- 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM | Summit Session #1: Defining the Future of Diversity in the Workplace and Job/Internship Search in a Virtual Environment (Panel)
- 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Summit Session #2: Preparing for the Virtual Career Fair and Personal Branding (Panel)
Thursday, April 15th, 2021 – Day Two – Virtual Career Fair
- 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Virtual Career Fair with 130+ Companies and Organizations!
